Ten Live Rail has been the provider of franchise bid support to our client in the UK for over 6 years. As part of the franchise, our client contracted Ten Live to provide extensive franchise bid support activities, as well as the procurement of a new fleet of trains to support growth and additional services on the franchise route. A major challenge was bringing together the parallel activities of the franchise bid and the evolution of the new trains procurement specifications and requirements to meet the timeline for the franchise.
Ten Live Rail led on the procurement of the new fleet for our client, from the development of the new fleet strategy and business case, through to contract signature, and we are now supporting our client with the mobilisation and delivery of the new fleet. This was a focused scope of supply over 1 year, from initial specification development, through early supplier engagement, and continuous support. Ten Live Rail deployed a range of internal staff supported by external discipline experts where required and contract staff.
Permanent and contract recruitment and resource management services provided, sourcing, contracting and supplying specialist project management, technical, planning & estimating, engineering, risk, design & architect services, commercial managers, health & safety, environment & quality, building & trades, PICOSS, signaling, design, engineers & managers,(telecoms) testers installers & Track, OTP Operators, train drivers, route conductors & other on-train staff , plant operators, trades (including bricklayers, carpenters, electricians, painters, plasterers), secretarial, HR, Finance, information management, executive search & selection, Six Sigma. All railway contracting operational staff supplied are trained, certified, CSCS, drug & Alcohol Tested and managed through our ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 performance and competency matrix.
