Job Description

Our client, a leader in structural steel, is recruiting an experienced Quality Controller for its facility in the Bellshill area

Hours of work – Dayshift – Monday to Friday

Salary – £45k to £65k per annum DOE

Benefits – Bonus scheme, Pension contributions, Death in Service & Onsite parking

Contract – Permanent

Responsibilities

Duties

Reviewing and implementing Project Specification, including participating in Contract reviews
Formulation of Project documentation in line with Specifications
Supporting all aspects of Quality within the Company
Supply chain audits
Implementing company Quality management system
LTQR compilation and review

Qualities & Skills

Communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical and problem-solving ability
Planning and project management skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team
A strategic approach to work
Ability to facilitate change
Skills in numerical and statistical analysis

Requirements

Minimum of 4+ years’ experience
Experience in delivering projects to defence, power, Oil & Gas and nuclear environments would be advantageous
Experience working in heavy engineering would be an advantage but not essential
