Scottish Apprenticeship Week and Kenny
Kenny Barr joined Ten Live as an apprentice almost a year ago and proved himself an asset early on. He is now Ten Live’s Operations Administrator and resident funny man. We asked him a few questions about his career and life at Ten Live, since joining and why he chooses to stay.
Summing up his experience at Ten Live (very succinctly), Kenny describes it as accuracy, banter and biscuits. We couldn’t have put it better ourselves, Kenny.

1. Why did you choose to join Ten Live or what attracted you to join Ten Live?
I chose Ten live because since I started my job it has been professional and my workmates have welcomed me in and made my job easier to learn and practise.
2. What’s the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is finishing weekly payroll on a Wednesday.
3. Why do you choose to stay at Ten Live?
I have chose to stay because it’s a good environment and everyone is on the same side to help you through.
4. Are there any benefits that you really value and why?
Benefits of my job are Fat Fridays which is getting a free lunch at the end of the month.

5. What motivates you at Ten Live?
My motivation to do well during the week is to have no queries on a Friday and complete my job.

8. 1 fun fact about you.
I can make a mean bit of toasted cheese sprinkled with chilli flakes.
