Listening to our customers’ views about the service we provide [through customer comments and survey feedback] allows us to make vital adjustments to the way we work and to continuously improve our service delivery. As a driver of continuous improvement – allowing us to self-assess our staff capability in relation to customer-focused service delivery, identifying areas and methods for improvement
As a skills development tool – by allowing individual staff and teams within our business to explore and acquire new skills in customer focus and customer engagement, thus building their capacity for delivering improved services
As an independent validation of achievement – demonstrating our competences, identifying key areas for improvement and celebrating our successes
Looking back at our customer service excellence successes of 2014;
- In April 2014 and December 2014 we were once again accredited with the globally-recognised and respected quality management standard, ISO 9001:2008 certification for the third year running, by our third party certification auditor, URS, with 100% excellent results. Our other ISO accreditations include ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001: 2004 Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001 : 2007 Health & Safety Management
- 100% score in an annual audit of management and processes by an external auditor
- Across all our 2014 regular fortnightly and monthly customer services surveys we scored a minimum of 90% for ‘excellence’ in delivery of customer service
